The Malaysian Artist Chee Eng Hong has endured a tumultuous years of temptation, loss, and strive to reach the ultimate turning point. His imminent choice to either join back the seductive commercial world or pursue a wholesome artistic life.

Tan was awarded a scholarship at the Malaysia Institute of Art. He pursued his studies at The One Academy of Communication Design where he lectured after graduating. Recipient of various awards, Tan turned to full time artist in the 2000. He has since held numerous solo and group exhibitions both locally and internationally. His works have been auctioned at Bonhams and Christies in recent years.

Tan draws inspiration from nature, landscapes and cityscapes, capturing the emotion and feeling at one moment in time.  Having had to work at nigh time in his youth, many of his paintings are night scenes with a play on light, reflecting his optimistic approach on life

Ray Khoo, or Khoo Sui Hoe (丘瑞河), born 1939 in Malaysia, is a 1961 graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. In 1974, he was awarded a scholarship grant from the John D. Rockefeller 3rd Fund to study the development of contemporary art in the United States, during which time he subsequently delved into printmaking in New York. From the 1960s to present, Khoo has held over 50 solo exhibitions in Asia, Australia, and the United States, in addition to group exhibitions in India, Japan, Brazil, China, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Lam Siong Onn was born in 1937, in Sarawak, Malaysia.  Largely self-taught, Lam has the remarkable ability to transform everyday Asian scenes into extraordinary contemporary watercolour landscapes.
In his works, one is immersed in the tranquility of a fishing village, basking under a hot sun at the local market, or perhaps feeling the caress of warm sun rays as the day begins in a quaint seaside village.

The emergence, since late 1980’s until now, of Zulkifli and his eclectic body of work in the form of either drawing, sculpture, painting, print, installation or mixed media, has become a phenomenon that can be taken as an important milestone in the development of Malaysian art.
